Is looking for Assistant Manager to help provide leadership and guidance to hourly staff.

Assistant Managers at Golden Chick are under the supervision of Restaurant General Managers and since they are playing the important role as second in command, assistant managers have the duty of supervising all team members on his or her assigned shift. Other related responsibilities may include taking part in hiring personnel, orienting and or assessing the performance of team members, coach newly hired members about all the key areas of the operations. This position is in charge of implementing the policies and operational guidelines of the company.

· Customer Satisfaction: Provide and coach restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.

· Facility Condition: Maintain an awareness of the overall restaurant facility’s condition; notify the management of any equipment failure or maintenance/supply needs; and perform or direct restaurant staff to perform a variety of general housekeeping duties.

· Merchandising: Monitor and ensure that all food product areas are stocked, rotated and displayed to ensure freshness, appeal and easy customer access.

· Sales Controls: Train employees to enter all transactions at the time of purchase at the correct price using the correct keys/codes, completing all shift sales in accordance with company policies.

· Financial Controls: Manage accurate cash, sales, food cost, payroll and inventory control records and accounts for variances.

· Staffing Controls: Oversee the activities of restaurant employees as directed by the QSR Supervisor.

· Internal/External Controls: Ensure all restaurant employees follow all government laws, health and safety codes, inspection standards, and the Company policies, procedures and standards that apply to the conduct of business. Seeks guidance from the QSR Supervisor and/or appropriate management areas about legal questions or obligations.

· Security Controls: Assist in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers and protecting Company assets such as information, cash, product, equipment and property.
