Job Description

The assistant to the Turfgrass Research Center manager will support the supervisor in maintaining research equipment, facility infrastructure, ensuring safety compliance, and managing field research plots. The assistant will also help train personnel, coordinate land and facility use, maintain inventory records, and assist with field demonstrations and data collection.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with equipment operation and maintenance
• Current valid Driver's License and safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in turf management, landscaping, agronomy, or a related field
• Knowledge of safety protocols and certifications
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to train and supervise personnel
• Positive attitude, excellent communication & collaboration skills
