Assistant Nurse Manager, Operating Room (RN, BSN) Baltimore, Maryland Full Time
Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations, patient flow, and staffing coverage across the General Operating Room • Lead, coach, and develop OR nursing staff to strengthen team performance and engagement • Maintain a continuous state of survey and regulatory readiness • Drive improvements in patient satisfaction and departmental efficiency • Support administrative functions on behalf of the Nurse Manager, including scheduling and reporting • Serve as a clinical and operational resource for the surgical team across all specialty services
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required • Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license required • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience required • Strong communication, staff development, and operational decision-making skills
