Qualifications

• Must hold a Type 75/Principal Administrative License, at least five years experience in teaching and/or administration/supervision
• Must be certified to evaluate teachers
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate comprehensive 5-8 school instructional programs
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff, community, and the public
• Can demonstrate knowledge of principles, practices, materials, and equipment used in current 5-8 school education and an ability to apply them to the needs of the school
• Ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate the work of instructional and support personnel
• Knowledge of current curriculum and instructional best practices and trends
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Understands the needs of a diverse learning community
• Ability to supervise sporting events, activities, and miscellaneous events

Salary/Benefits

$65,000 - $75,000
