Key Responsibilities:
The Assistant Principal supports the Principal in executing high-impact leadership to ensure student success and operational excellence, including:
Driving Student Achievement & Instructional Excellence
Supports the development and implementation of instructional strategies that accelerate student learning and close achievement gaps.
Assists in ensuring rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum and instruction are effectively delivered by teachers.
Implements data-driven practices to monitor and improve student progress.
Building a Culture of High Expectations
Cultivates a positive, student-centered school climate that prioritizes safety, respect, and engagement.
Leads efforts to increase student attendance, graduation rates, and academic outcomes.
Supports the Principal in discipline management, ensuring a fair and consistent student behavior framework.

Assists in the selection, mentoring, and coaching of high-quality staff.
Supports the Principal in teacher evaluation and ongoing professional development.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university
Administrator's Certificate appropriate for the Principal's position or the ability to acquire it
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Additional leadership experience on the campus or otherwise is essential.
