The Department of Psychology & Social Work seeks applicants for a full-time ten-month faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the Master of Science Community Psychology Program beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. Our department is dedicated to identifying a colleague to support our mission of delivering a graduate program defined by its non-traditional student body and holistic approach to client care in which individuals are seen in the context of their community. Moreover, we are looking for a team member who will join in the program's commitment to preparing culturally responsive counselors.

The Assistant Professor & Internship Coordinator serves in a dual role, providing teaching, advising, and service within the Master of Science Community Psychology program while overseeing all practicum and internship placements. The position also maintains an active part-time clinical practice independent from Alverno College to support supervision eligibility, student training, and professional currency. The role ensures academic quality, strong community partnerships, and compliance with accreditation, licensure, and institutional standards. All faculty at Alverno College collaborate in curriculum development, teaching, learning, assessment, and program evaluation within the program and the curriculum at large. This includes instructional and administrative duties as necessary and assigned.
