Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach a range of courses including those designed primarily for Biochemistry majors (e.g. Biochemistry, Biochemical Techniques), foundation courses for Biochemistry, Biology and Nursing majors (e.g. General Chemistry, Fundamentals of Organic and Biochemistry), and courses in the general education core. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive pedagogy and a commitment to continued growth in these practices. In addition, the successful candidate will work with department members to develop, provide and/or coordinate on-campus and off-campus undergraduate research experiences for students. Other duties include advising a diverse population of students, and participating in activities that serve the Department, University and community.
