M.D. or equivalent required.
Licensed to practice medicine or eligible for licensure in Arkansas.
Completion of neurology residency.
Candidate must be ABPN board eligible.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient clinical care while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
Participate in the epilepsy call schedule to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Teach and mentor medical students and residents in both clinical and academic settings.
Develop and participate in clinical and/or scientific research initiatives that advance the department's academic and research mission.
Contribute to scholarly activities through the preparation and publication of peer-reviewed manuscripts.
Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is a Designated Research Position and is regulated by the Arkansas Research Education Protection Act of 2025. Prior to issuance of an offer of employment, the University is required to request and obtain additional information about an applicant’s background and, if required, conduct an additional review of that background information.
