A balanced workload which consists of effectively teaching courses in the area of Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management along with research and service that is commensurate with the awarding of tenure at Murray State University.

Minimum Education Requirements

Ph.D. or DBA in Logistics, Transportation and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management, or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited Business School required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

Must have teaching experience at the university level.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications

A significant record of publications in peer reviewed journals and evidence of teaching effectiveness preferred. Evidence of the capacity to teach using three delivery methods (traditional/live courses, interactive television, and online/web instruction) is also preferred. Experience and/or interest in Transportation & Logistics is preferred. Interest and willingness to teach in international settings, including participation in university programs abroad, is also preferred.
