The University of Michigan School of Nursing seeks applications from outstanding nurse scientists and interdisciplinary scholars whose research advances health and healthcare across the lifespan. We welcome candidates at all stages of their careers, from emerging scholars with strong potential for sustained research success to established leaders with nationally or internationally recognized programs of research. Applicants will be considered for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor based on experience, evidence of scholarly accomplishments, and expected future impact.
Particular areas of interest include, but are not limited to, pediatric health; women's health; chronic disease prevention and management; digital health innovations; AI in health; and interventions that improve health outcomes for individuals, families, and communities. Candidates should demonstrate a record of research productivity and the potential to contribute meaningfully to the UMSN's mission of advancing health through science, education, mentorship, leadership, and service.
