Assistant Project Manager

The firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its Oak Brook office and support projects across Chicagoland. This role offers strong mentorship and a clear path toward Project Manager responsibilities.

Client Details

A rapidly growing suburban Chicago general contractor specializing in industrial, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects ranging from $5M-$50M.

Description

• Review and process project submittals and RFIs
• Assist with budgeting and project cost tracking
• Coordinate subcontractor scopes and procurement
• Support schedule updates and project reporting
• Participate in owner and architect meetings
• Help manage project closeout documentation

Profile

• 2-6 years of experience working for a general contractor
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience supporting ground-up or interior renovation projects
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and project management software
• Strong attention to detail
