Support the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Assist Project Managers in managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, owners, and field teams to maintain project progress and quality standards.
Track project costs and assist with financial reporting, forecasting, and change management.
Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
Utilize project management software to maintain accurate records, schedules, and communication.
Monitor project milestones and proactively address issues impacting schedule or budget.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, project requirements, and company best practices.
Support successful project delivery on projects valued at $20M or greater.
The successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or in a related construction management role.
Experience overseeing at least one ground-up building project.
Prior experience on apartment, hospital, library, school, or university construction projects.
Experience managing projects with a minimum value of $20 million.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience using PlanGrid and Procore.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
