Assistant Project Manager - Construction - White Plains
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - White Plains, you will be responsible for:
Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of project delivery
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, architects, and engineers
Assisting with procurement and contract administration
Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
Utilizing Procore for project management, documentation, and reporting
Performing drawing reviews, takeoffs, and markups using Bluebeam
Reviewing and coordinating construction drawings using AutoCAD
Supporting field teams and Superintendents with project coordination
Participating in project meetings and preparing meeting minutes
Tracking project progress and assisting with issue resolution
Supporting project closeout and turnover activities
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
2-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, or Assistant Project Management
Experience working on ground-up multifamily, luxury multifamily, or mixed-use construction projects
Strong proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD (required)
Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience working with project schedules and construction documentation
Wood-frame / stick-frame construction experience preferred, but not required
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Desire to advance into a Project Manager role
