Job Description

A well-established Chicago general contractor is looking for an Assistant Project Manager with experience working on municipal or CTA projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who already understands public work in Chicago and is ready to take on more responsibility and continue growing toward a Project Manager role.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience as an APM, Project Engineer, or similar role with a commercial GC
  • Municipal/public construction experience in the Chicago market
  • CTA experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation
  • Ability to coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, owners, and design teams
  • Someone organized, dependable, and ready to grow

Compensation:
$85K–$110K base, depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
