Assistant Project Manager - Healthcare Construction

Support the successful delivery of complex occupied healthcare, life science, laboratory, and institutional construction projects across Greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire. Partner closely with Project Managers to coordinate RFIs, submittals, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and client communication while building toward a long-term project management career.

Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Healthcare Construction will:

• Support Project Managers in the execution of large-scale occupied healthcare, laboratory, life science, and institutional projects.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate procurement activities, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain clear communication with owners, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor project progress and help ensure schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Utilise Procore and related construction management software to support project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Executives, and senior leadership on active projects.
• Support projects located throughout Greater Boston and Central/Southern New Hampshire.

Profile

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Healthcare Construction should have:

• 2 to 5+ years of construction experience in an Assistant Project Manager or similar project support role.
• Experience working on occupied construction projects.
• Background in one or more of the following sectors:
  • Healthcare
  • Hospitals
  • Life Science
  • Laboratory
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Higher Education
  • Public Facilities
  • Institutional Construction
• Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to commute to Boston-area project sites.
