Assistant Project Manager - Higher Education Construction

A respected general contractor in the Chicago area is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for higher education projects. You'll support academic buildings, labs and campus renovations.

What You'll Do

• Support the Project Manager on budgets, schedules and buyout
• Manage submittals, RFIs and change orders
• Coordinate with subcontractors and campus stakeholders
• Help plan work around academic calendars
• Support closeout and turnover

What You Bring

• 2+ years of project engineering or APM experience with a general contractor
• Higher education, institutional or public project experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Procore or similar software
• Strong organization and communication
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred
