We are on the hunt for a dynamic and passionate Assistant Project Manager to join our thriving construction team. As the Assistant Project Manager, you will be a key member of our project management team, playing an instrumental role in driving our projects to success. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for construction management. You will be working on a variety of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and development through to final completion and handover.
2. Manage and coordinate project tasks and deliverables, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying potential risks and issues and implementing effective solutions.
4. Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication at all stages of the project.
6. Monitor project progress, providing regular updates and reports to the Project Manager and other key stakeholders.
7. Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the construction industry.
8. Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project, utilizing strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in project management.
3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
5. Proficient in project management software and tools, with a strong understanding of construction scheduling.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
8. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
9. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is preferred.
