Assistant Project Manager - Mission CriticalOur client is a well-established general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial construction projects across the United States. With a commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction, they provide employees with opportunities to gain valuable project experience while building long-term careers in the construction industry.Job DescriptionSupport Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned projectsManage day-to-day project activities under the direction of the Project ManagerPrepare and assist with invoices, estimates, meeting coordination, and project documentationTrack project progress and communicate updates to project stakeholdersAssist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly project status reportsContribute to the development and maintenance of project budgets and cost estimatesSolicit bids and proposals from subcontractors and material suppliersSupport subcontractor billing processes and help facilitate timely payment activitiesAssist with the preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of change ordersUpdate project cost reports to reflect approved changes and budget revisionsWork on-site as assigned and support field operations throughout the project lifecyclePartner with Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate field activitiesCommunicate project delays, challenges, and risks to project leadershipBuild and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliersAssist with project startup activities and closeout documentationPerform additional duties as assignedMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
