Assistant Project Manager – Multifamily Construction

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth area

A multifamily general contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is looking for an Assistant Project Manager with a clear path to Project Manager. You will support garden-style, wrap, and mid-rise apartment projects while building the skills to run your own.

What You'll Do

• Partner with a Project Manager on garden-style, wrap, and mid-rise multifamily projects
• Keep submittals, RFIs, and change orders organized and moving
• Help with buyout, subcontractor scopes, and procurement
• Track budgets, schedules, and monthly pay applications
• Walk units and amenities with the field team to stay close to the work
• Take on more ownership as you grow, with a clear target of stepping into the PM seat

What You Bring

• Some experience with a general contractor, ideally on multifamily or residential-style work
• A construction management, engineering, or related degree is a plus
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Comfort with Excel and project management software like Procore
• A positive attitude and the drive to grow quickly
