Assistant Regional Manager – Roanoke, Virginia

Overview:

Red Coats, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Regional Manager to support our growing operations in the Roanoke, Virginia market. This position will assist with the day-to-day management of multiple commercial custodial accounts while helping ensure consistent service quality, strong customer relationships, and effective employee supervision.

The Assistant Regional Manager will work closely with regional leadership and onsite management teams to oversee staffing, training, quality control, safety, supply management, and customer satisfaction. The position will also assist with new account start-ups, employee recruitment and retention, operational problem-solving, and ensuring each facility is performing in accordance with Red Coats standards and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Support the daily operation of multiple custodial accounts throughout the Roanoke market.
• Conduct routine site inspections and follow up on quality or service concerns.
• Supervise, coach, and support onsite managers, supervisors, and custodial employees.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee retention.
• Develop positive working relationships with customers and respond promptly to their needs.
• Monitor labor hours, supplies, equipment, and other operating expenses.
• Assist with new account transitions, special projects, and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Red Coats safety, quality, and company policies.
• Provide hands-on operational support when necessary to ensure customer expectations are met.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a dependable, hands-on leader with strong communication and organizational skills who is comfortable managing multiple locations and priorities. Experience in commercial janitorial services, facilities management, hospitality, or another service-based operation is preferred.
