Assistant Sales Manager | Fitsi Gym Escondido
Compensation: $19–$23 per hour, based on experience, plus a performance-based variable compensation plan.


Fitsi Gym is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager to drive membership growth, develop community relationships, and help lead our Member Experience team. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through, and is motivated by goals and the opportunity to earn more through performance.


This is a hands-on role focused on membership sales, lead generation, team coaching, and delivering an excellent member experience.


Responsibilities:

• Sell memberships through personalized club tours, strong follow-up, and confident closing.
• Contact prospects by phone, text, and email to schedule appointments and drive enrollments.
• Generate leads through community outreach, local business partnerships, events, and member referrals.
• Coach team members on sales conversations, overcoming objections, and asking for the sale.
• Track sales activity and results, identify opportunities, and help the team meet its goals.
• Support daily club operations and maintain a clean, welcoming, professional environment.
• Resolve member questions and concerns with care and consistent follow-through.

Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience with demonstrated success meeting or exceeding goals.
• Leadership, supervisory, or team coaching experience preferred.
• Comfortable with proactive outreach, phone sales, and in-person selling.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow direction, work independently, and hold yourself and others accountable.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed and cover shifts if needed.
• Fitness industry experience preferred.

Compensation:

• Base pay: $19–$23 per hour, based on experience.
