POSITION: Coaching Positions
Assistant Speech Coach
LOCATION: Stillwater Area High School
PURPOSE OF THE
ACTIVITY:
To prepare students for competitions and performances. Develop
lesson plans and training sessions to enhance students' speech
skills. Provide constructive feedback to students to improve their
performance
QUALIFICATIONS FOR
THE JOB:
Connection to a high school community
Communicate with high school students
Be supportive to high school students
Education degree and/or counseling
Previous speech coaching experience preferred.
IMMEDIATE
SUPERVISOR:
Activities Director/Principal
GENERAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Planning and leading practice sessions
B. Creating strategies to prepare/lead students for competitions
C. Provide feedback and coaching at practices/competitions
D. Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Advisors.
LENGTH OF ACTIVITY: Weeks: 18 (7.5 hours per week)
After School - As assigned by the head speech coach
