The Assistant Store Manager supports the daily operations, sales performance, and team leadership of Beignets & Brew, Elizabethtown. In partnership with the Store Manager, this role helps drive sales growth, deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintain operational excellence, lead employees and uphold brand standards. The Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in developing team members, managing inventory, and ensuring consistent execution across the store.
Essential Functions
- Assist in leading day-to-day operations, coaching, and developing store associates across both food service establishments.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and customer-focused work environment.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention efforts.
- Model company values and professional leadership behaviors.
- Assist with daily opening and/or closing procedures.
- Maintain product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Monitor cash handling, and deposits.
- Assist Store Manager in maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.
- Support staffing and scheduling across locations as business needs require.
- Assist with special projects, store launches, remodels, and cross-brand initiatives.
- Other duties may be required.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong customer service and sales management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Safety Manager Certification a plus but not required
- Experience in a food service, a plus.
Working Conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, and perform stockroom duties.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate face-to-face with guests and Krewe team members.
This position may require availability for:
- Weekday and weekend shifts
- Early mornings and/or evenings
- Holidays
- Outdoor patio cleaning and maintenance, weather permitting
