Assistant Superintendent

As an Building and Construction Assistant Superintendent, you will:

• Assist with daily jobsite operations and field coordination
• Support the Superintendent in managing subcontractors and trade partners
• Monitor project schedules and help track milestone completion
• Conduct site walks to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained
• Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and material staging
• Assist with construction sequencing and workflow planning
• Review project drawings and specifications
• Help maintain daily reports and project documentation
• Participate in subcontractor and safety meetings
• Identify and communicate potential field issues to project leadership
• Assist with punch-list completion and project closeout activities

A successful Building and Construction Assistant Superintendent candidate will have:

• 2+ years of construction field experience
• Experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or similar field leadership role
• Strong understanding of construction methods and jobsite operations
• Basic knowledge of scheduling, quality control, and safety requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and desire to grow into a Superintendent role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic construction technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-family or residential construction experience
• Mixed-use development experience
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trade partners
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Construction Management degree or related education
