We're looking for a driven Assistant Superintendent who wants to step into a key field leadership role and make an immediate impact on paving operations. What You'll Do

As the Assistant Superintendent, you'll partner directly with the Paving Superintendent to keep projects on track, on budget, and executed at a high level of quality.

• Support day-to-day project execution across paving and site work
• Assist with job costing, budgeting, and tracking performance
• Help foremen understand project scope and ensure expectations are met
• Perform jobsite layout and preparation ahead of crew arrival
• Coordinate with customers on schedules, scope, and job readiness
• Assist in planning schedules, crews, and resources
• Implement and maintain quality control processes across jobsites

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in construction management, heavy civil, or related field
• Strong background in asphalt paving and site development
• Experience with project scheduling and managing subcontractors
• Working knowledge of job costing and budgeting principles
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with asphalt paving operations
• Experience in concrete construction and land development
• Ability to work overtime as project demands require

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hudson, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Paid vacation and sick time - Full benefits package including, Health insurance, Dental insurance, Vision coverage, Life insurance, 401(k) Pension/Profit Sharing Plan
