Are you a dynamic, ambitious, and experienced construction professional who is ready to take on new challenges? We are seeking a Permanent Assistant Superintendent-Multifamily who is ready to contribute to our growth and success in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company and play a significant role in our multifamily construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction, ensuring high-quality work, and meeting project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
As our Assistant Superintendent-Multifamily, you will be tasked with the following:
1. Supervise and coordinate all construction activities related to multifamily projects, ensuring all work is carried out as per the project plans and specifications.
2. Oversee the construction process of Podium Wrap, concrete, wood frame, and Precast Parking Garage, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
3. Coordinate and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
4. Oversee the installation of the exterior facade and exterior envelope, ensuring quality and adherence to project specifications.
5. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Regularly inspect construction sites to identify and resolve any potential issues or delays.
7. Ensure all construction activities comply with legal and quality standards, including local and national building codes.
8. Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including progress reports, safety logs, and change orders.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Assistant Superintendent-Multifamily position, you should possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily construction.
2. Proven experience working with Podium Wrap, concrete, wood frame, Precast Parking Garage, MEP, exterior facade, and exterior envelope.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, quality control, and safety protocols.
4. Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to oversee and coordinate large construction projects.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues effectively and efficiently.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including project managers, architects, engineers, and construction workers.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Certifications in construction safety and project management are an asset.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Physical stamina and ability to work on construction sites in various weather conditions.
