Assistant Superintendent - Rochester, NY

Job Description

• Support daily construction activities and field coordination
• Assist with managing subcontractor schedules and jobsite workflow
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project teams
• Conduct site walks to ensure quality and safety compliance
• Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and site logistics
• Help maintain daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
• Participate in subcontractor and owner meetings
• Assist with resolving field issues and construction conflicts
• Track punch list items and closeout requirements
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedule milestones

A Successful Candidate Will Have

• 2+ years of commercial or multifamily construction experience
• Desire to advance into a Superintendent role
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field activities
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software preferred
• Self-motivated attitude with strong problem-solving skills
