Description

An established general contractor is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support a large-scale $45M senior living project in Durham, NH. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple ground-up buildings and renovations while working closely with an experienced Superintendent on site.

Description

  • Assist the Superintendent with daily site operations on a $45M senior living development consisting of five buildings, including four ground-up structures and one addition/renovation.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Support project documentation, reporting, and communication using Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Participate in subcontractor meetings, site walks, inspections, and punch list activities.
  • Help maintain schedule adherence while managing quality control throughout all phases of construction.
  • Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify and resolve field challenges.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and client expectations.

Profile

  • 2-3+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Field Engineer in commercial construction.
  • Experience working on occupied facilities, ground-up construction, renovations, or additions.
  • Project experience in multifamily, commercial, education, hospitality, healthcare, country club, or similar sectors preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse or manufacturing projects alone will not be considered.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • CSL license preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to work full-time on site in Durham, NH.
  • Candidates should reside within approximately one hour of the project location.
