Community Builders Childcare in Appleton, WI is looking for a passionate and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities
• Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
• Follow all childcare licensing regulations, safety protocols, and center policies
• Assist with meal times, nap times, and daily routines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about child development
• Ability to pass a background check per Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
