About the Role:
Join The Learning Experience in Bel Air, MD, as an Assistant Teacher, where you will play a vital role in nurturing young minds! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment dedicated to fostering a love for learning in children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging lesson plans and educational activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through hands-on learning experiences.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Monitor and document children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to parents and staff.
- Encourage positive interactions among children and promote teamwork.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Help prepare materials for lessons and assist with classroom management.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education coursework preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators.
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor towards children.
- Flexible schedule
- Background check clearance required.
- Must be located and eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
