Funtastic Childcare Center is seeking dependable, friendly and fun assistant teachers to join our team! We are looking for assistants with strong classroom management skills who love connecting with individual children and creating a happy, engaging classroom environment. 

Job Description:

• Care for the daily personal needs of the children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children
• Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
• Assist in the implementation weekly lessons
• Interact with the children by playing with, reading to, and singing with them. Be an active member of your classroom by engaging with each child
• Build a trusting, respectful relationship with each child
• Maintain friendly, positive communications with the parents of our children
• Log accident and incident reports
• Maintain confidentiality
• Attend in service and staff meetings
• Cooperate and collaborate with all coworkers for the best of the children
• Assist with duties and responsibilities that will help to create a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the center as a whole
• Meet all applicable licensing regulations
• Salary dependent on education and experience
