Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Supervise toddlers to ensure safety at all times
- Help with daily routines such as meals, diapering, potty training, and nap time
- Engage children in play, storytelling, music, and creative activities
- Support positive behavior and social development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with the lead teacher and staff
- Observe and report children’s progress and any concerns
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience working with toddlers (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic child development principles
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30–40 pounds
- Frequent sitting, standing, bending, and playing on the floor
- Ability to respond quickly in emergencies
