Job Summary
The School of Education at The University of Southern Mississippi invites applications for one teaching (non tenure track) faculty position in educational administration beginning August 2027. This is an on-campus position.
The successful candidates will join a collegial faculty community that includes established senior faculty as well as recently appointed colleagues. They will teach and mentor graduate students pursuing either their Educational Specialist (EdS) or Doctorate of Education (EdD) degrees in educational administration offered fully online in synchronous and asynchronous formats.

Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
A doctoral degree in Educational Administration or closely related field (by August 2027).
Five years of educational leadership experience at the school level to include principalship.
Evidence of experience in P-12 improvement and methods to assess improvement.
Evidence of scholarly potential.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching graduate courses in educational administration.
Experience mentoring doctoral students in research, action research, capstone, or dissertation work.
Experience mentoring emerging leaders
