The University of Evansville invites applications for the position of Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research and Effectiveness. This full-time leadership position provides strategic direction for the University's institutional research, assessment, and data analytics initiatives.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Assistant Vice President serves as the University's primary resource for data-informed decision-making and institutional effectiveness. The successful candidate will lead efforts related to data collection, analysis, reporting, accreditation support, and strategic planning while ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and responsible use of institutional data across the University.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research and Effectiveness provides leadership for institutional research, data governance, assessment activities, and strategic reporting.
Institutional Research & Analytics
Strategic Planning & Institutional Effectiveness
Reporting & Compliance
Coordinate and complete all required external reporting, including submissions to:
Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)
State agencies
Accrediting organizations
Higher education consortia and surveys
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all institutional reporting activities.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting methodologies and data definitions.

This position works closely with senior leadership and collaborates extensively with academic and administrative units across the University.
