EHC is currently looking for an Associate Accountant for a client in the south Houston, TX area.
Summary:
The Associate Accountant is responsible for various accounting functions across the FP&A, AR, and AP groups.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable – Cash applications and support
- Accounts Payable – Vouchering and support
- Invoice Register Review to include negative margins on a weekly basis
- Journal Entry Upload – Assist the accounting team with uploading Journal Entries
- Compile and book journal entries (i.e. Cash Transactions MJE-13)
- Run financial statements in Excel
- Update Excel Profit & Loss Workbooks
- Assist the team with researching P&L expenses
- Assist with Inventory Forecast updates
- Verify approvals for ACH’s and Wire transfers
- Costing support
- Close and financials support
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation assistance
- AP Clearing account assistance
- Audit support
- Ad-hoc Projects
