Pay & Schedule
- Hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite, 2-3 days remote)
- Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- Salary: $50,000 annually W2
About the Role
As an Associate Adjuster, you will support policyholders throughout the auto claims process, providing exceptional customer service while managing claims from initiation through resolution. This role offers extensive training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities within a respected insurance organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process personal auto insurance claims of moderate complexity.
- Review claim files and obtain any missing documentation needed to support claim resolution.
- Communicate with policyholders via phone and email, providing timely and professional updates.
- Explain claim processes, coverage information, and next steps to customers.
- Gather and review supporting documentation including appraisals, invoices, and estimates.
- Maintain accurate claim records and documentation within internal systems.
- Coordinate appraisal, rental, and vendor-related activities throughout the claims process.
- Establish claim reserves and support payment processing activities.
- Handle inbound and outbound claim-related communications.
- Identify claims requiring escalation and collaborate with internal teams as needed.
- Meet productivity, quality, and service-level expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher required.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, insurance, banking, financial services, hospitality, or a related industry preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage multiple systems simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with empathy and professionalism.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.

Training & Work Schedule
- Training schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Post-training schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Onsite attendance may be required during the training period
