Associate Advisor (Relationship Manager)

Location: Bellevue, WA (Fully Onsite, Monday-Friday)

Compensation: $50K base salary + bonus (target total compensation of $75K+) plus comprehensive benefits

Overview:

Our client is a thriving, growth-oriented independent wealth management firm seeking an ambitious Associate Advisor (Relationship Manager) to join their collaborative advisory team in Bellevue, Washington.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career financial professional who is eager to become a successful Financial Advisor - but doesn't want the uncertainty of building a client base from scratch. Instead, you'll inherit relationships within an established client segment, work alongside experienced Advisors, and receive hands-on mentorship while developing into a trusted Advisor.

What You'll Do:

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for an established book of approximately 1,000 client households
• Deliver proactive, ongoing service while identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships
• Meet with clients to review financial goals, answer questions, and provide exceptional service
• Respond promptly to client requests and become a trusted resource for everyday financial needs
• Build long-term relationships that naturally lead to additional planning and advisory opportunities

Financial Planning & Advisory Support:

• Learn directly from a Senior Advisor through side-by-side mentorship and client meeting participation
• Prepare for client meetings, build financial proposals, and develop planning recommendations
• Present financial planning and investment recommendations with increasing independence
• Support fee-based planning engagements and advisory relationships
• Become knowledgeable across investment management, retirement planning, insurance solutions, and wealth management strategies

Operations & Business Development:

• Manage client paperwork and account documentation from start to finish
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and client meeting materials
• Coordinate account openings, transfers, money movement, and service requests
• Work independently while utilizing internal resources to deliver outstanding client service
• Help uncover opportunities within the existing client base rather than prospecting through cold outreach

Qualifications:

• Series 7 license
• Series 66 license (or Series 63 and Series 65)
• Washington Life & Disability Insurance license
• 1-4 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, insurance, or a related field
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organization and follow-through
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Bellevue, WA

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $50K + bonuses with target total compensation of $75K+ in first year
