Job Details

We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our legal team in Austin.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of litigation experience and interested in practicing family law. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, work within a team of highly skilled professionals, and learn from a board-certified family law attorney.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations related to family law matters including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
• Draft and review various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and other correspondence.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to discover all relevant facts and data.
• Develop strong strategies and arguments for presentation in court.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their legal rights, obligations, and options.
• Negotiate settlements in a timely and advantageous manner.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client and court interactions.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 1 years of litigation experience.
• A current license to practice law in the state of Texas.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex cases and develop effective strategies.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to client service and a passion for family law.
