We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team, with experience or familiar interest in family law, estate planning, criminal defense, and personal injury law. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, along with a commitment to client service, professional growth, and collaborative teamwork.
Legal Qualifications & Experience:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active admission to the Florida Bar. Experience or familiarity with family law, estate planning, criminal defense, and personal injury law is preferred.
Legal Research, Writing & Analysis:
Conduct thorough legal research and draft, review, and prepare pleadings, motions, contracts, estate planning documents, and other legal materials. Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
Client Representation & Court Appearances:
Provide legal advice and representation to clients, communicate complex legal concepts clearly, and attend hearings and court proceedings professionally and punctually.
Collaboration & Case Management:
Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy, participate in client meetings, maintain organized and up-to-date case files, and demonstrate the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Professional Growth & Community Engagement:
Stay current on changes in applicable laws and regulations, demonstrate a willingness to learn, and participate in community and networking events. Some travel may be required throughout Polk, Hillsborough, Highlands, Hardee, and occasionally Osceola Counties.
