ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Zuercher Law is a Columbus-area family law practice built on client-first advocacy and a commitment to doing this work the right way. We're growing — and we're looking for an experienced associate attorney ready to step into meaningful, complex caseloads and grow alongside the firm.

This is not a document-review role. You will be present in court, at negotiation tables, and engaging directly with clients who are navigating some of the most significant decisions of their lives. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage a caseload consisting of complex divorce, dissolution, and child custody and support matters, as well as other related domestic relations actions. 
• Represent clients in  courts throughout central Ohio at all stages of a case, including initial court hearings, pretrial proceedings, and final trials
• Strategically navigate the negotiation of dissolution matters to achieve client goals with opposing counsel and clients
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence with precision and care
• Advise clients directly on strategy, settlement, and next steps
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a small, high-trust team environment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of Ohio family law practice experience
• Active Ohio bar admission in good standing
• Proven courtroom experience in central Ohio
• Hands-on experience with divorce, dissolution, custody, and parenting time matters
• Collaborative law or mediation training or experience preferred
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing a full docket

WORK ARRANGEMENT

This is a hybrid position based in central Ohio. You'll work from the office, from home, and in courtrooms across central Ohio
