Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Why this is a great opportunity

  • Join a nationally recognized plaintiff-side firm with over $4 billion recovered for injured clients — your work creates real, lasting impact
  • Travel the country meeting clients and building your practice — this role offers meaningful variety and autonomy, not a desk-bound routine
  • Competitive salary with a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), continuing education, and pet insurance
  • Work in a mission-driven, socially responsible environment alongside a team of experienced attorneys and legal professionals
  • Build expertise in asbestos litigation, mass torts, defective drugs and devices, and workers' comp — a specialized, marketable skill set
  • Annual performance bonuses available
  • Free gym access, identity theft protection, and short and long-term disability coverage included

Location: This is a primarily field-based role with significant travel — roughly 80% of your time will be spent visiting clients, witnesses, and legal proceedings across the United States. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Missouri, Illinois, Florida, Louisiana, California, New York, or Washington D.C. We offer one remote workday per week with four days in the office when not traveling. No relocation package is available for this position.

Note: This role requires an active law license in any U.S. state (Missouri and/or Illinois preferred) and professional-level fluency in Spanish. Candidates must also have 1+ year of attorney experience. All three are hard requirements — candidates who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.

About us

We are a well-established, plaintiff-side law firm with a decades-long track record of fighting for people who have suffered catastrophic harm. Our practice spans asbestos litigation, mass torts, defective drugs and devices, workers' compensation, and broader personal injury work — and we have recovered over $4 billion on behalf of our clients. We are proud of the culture we have built: collaborative, high-performing, and genuinely committed to the people we serve. Confidential Employer.

What you will do

  • Represent clients injured by asbestos exposure, advocating fiercely on their behalf throughout each stage of the case
  • Prepare and manage assigned asbestos disease cases as part of a collaborative deposition team
  • Travel extensively (approximately 80%) across the U.S. to conduct in-person client and witness interviews
  • Gather and analyze records including Social Security, medical, military, and union documents to build strong case foundations
  • Prepare and conduct depositions of fact witnesses, including client intake and testimony evaluation
  • Summarize and synthesize fact witness deposition testimony for team review and case strategy
  • Approach every client interaction with empathy — many clients are seriously or terminally ill

Qualifications

  • Active law license in any U.S. state (Missouri and/or Illinois preferred)
  • 1+ year of attorney experience — personal injury or asbestos litigation preferred; all litigation backgrounds considered
  • Professional-level Spanish fluency (spoken and written) — required
  • Comfortable with extensive domestic travel (approximately 80%)
  • Currently residing in Missouri, Illinois, Florida, Louisiana, California, New York, or Washington D.C.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Self-directed, organized, and capable of managing a varied caseload with compassion and urgency

Why you will love working here

  • Your caseload matters — you are helping real people through some of the hardest moments of their lives
  • Grow your practice in a specialized area of law with national reach and genuine complexity
  • Work alongside a tenured, supportive legal team that takes both craft and culture seriously
  • Expansive benefits, firm-sponsored continuing education, and a clear path to building a meaningful legal career
