Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Attorney to join our growing personal injury practice. The ideal candidate is a skilled advocate with strong litigation abilities, excellent client communication skills, and a commitment to achieving outstanding results for injured clients. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload while working collaboratively with experienced attorneys and legal staff.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement demands, and legal memoranda.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.Conduct client consultations and maintain consistent communication throughout the life of each case.Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial.Analyze medical records, accident reports, expert opinions, and other evidence.Coordinate with medical providers, expert witnesses, investigators, and other professionals.Develop litigation strategies and case evaluations.Ensure compliance with all court deadlines and procedural requirements.Maintain accurate and timely case documentation within the firm's case management system.Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide exceptional client service.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction and in good standing.1-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation preferred (newly licensed attorneys with strong litigation experience through clerkships or internships are encouraged to apply).Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Excellent negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.Outstanding interpersonal and client service skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.Preferred QualificationsExperience handling plaintiff-side personal injury cases.Deposition and trial experience.Familiarity with insurance claims and settlement negotiations.Experience drafting demands and negotiating with insurance adjusters.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Key CompetenciesStrong advocacy and negotiation skillsAttention to detailSound legal judgmentExcellent written and verbal communicationClient-focused approachOrganization and time managementProblem-solving and critical thinkingCompensation & BenefitsDirect hire.
