Clausen Miller P.C. is a nationally recognized insurance defense firm with decades of experience representing major insurers and self-insured clients across complex litigation matters. We're growing our Connecticut litigation team and looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to work closely with a Senior Partner on a diverse caseload spanning casualty defense, premises liability, and environmental liability.
This is a hands-on role from day one — you'll be taking depositions, making court appearances, and building your litigation skills within a collaborative, well-resourced team.
What You'll Do- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery demands and responses
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Manage discovery, including interrogatories and document review
- Perform legal research and case analysis
- Appear in Connecticut courts as needed
What We're Looking For- 2–5 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability or environmental liability
- Active Connecticut bar admission required; New York and/or New Jersey bar admissions a plus
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Detail-oriented self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $105,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience
