Associate Attorney - Hybrid Job Opening in San Francisco, California Job#16858445A well-established civil defense litigation firm with a multi-state presence is expanding its San Francisco team and seeks an Associate Attorney for a hybrid role. This position offers the chance to manage cases from initial assignment through verdict, working side by side with seasoned litigators on a broad range of civil defense matters. The associate will draft pleadings and motions, conduct written discovery, take and defend depositions, and make regular court appearances. Additional responsibilities include preparing for and attending mediations, handling pre-trial preparation, and taking an active role at trial. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is central to this role, and the firm supports business development along a clear path to partnership. Qualifications:- At least one year of civil litigation experience, preferably on the defense side.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with confidence in the courtroom.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines while working collaboratively within a team.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
