Associate attorney - Maritime Law

Prevail Recruiting is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm to hire a Maritime Attorney at the Associate through Partner level.

This role is hybrid and must be barred in NJ and NY to be consdiered.

Qualifications:

• 3-7+ years of maritime/admiralty litigation experience
• Active New York and New Jersey Bar admission required
• Experience handling maritime matters in state and federal courts
• Strong knowledge of the Jones Act, LHWCA, marine casualty, cargo, transportation, and commercial litigation

The successful candidate may be based in NJ or NYC and will work closely with a highly regarded maritime partner in New Jersey. Both offices offer a hybrid work schedule. Compensation is up to $250K base depending on level + portable book.
