Associate Attorney: Commercial Litigation (3–5 Years)
We are a nationally recognized boutique law firm seeking one or two Associate Attorneys to join our growing franchise and business law practice. This role offers a unique blend of transactional and litigation work, representing established franchisors, emerging brands, and multi-unit operators across the country.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate franchise agreements and related contracts
- Prepare and update Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs)
- Advise clients on franchise, corporate, and business matters
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
- Handle commercial litigation, arbitration, and pre-dispute matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents
Qualifications
- J.D. and active bar license
- 3–5 years of litigation experience; transactional experience strongly preferred
- Strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills
- Interest in franchise law, business transactions, and commercial litigation
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $130,000–$160,000 DOE
- Performance-based bonus opportunity
- Attorneys typically average 1,400–1,600 billable hours annually
