    Description

    A plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing Los Angeles practice. This role is ideal for an attorney in the 1–3 year range who wants hands‑on responsibility, strong mentorship, and exposure to employment, class action, and PAGA matters without the burnout of full litigation.The position offers exceptional flexibility, a collaborative team environment, and meaningful involvement in shaping cases from the earliest stages.The RoleWork closely with Intake and Managing Attorneys to evaluate potential claims and defendantsDraft and serve PAGA noticesPrepare employment-related complaintsConduct detailed personnel file reviewsPerform legal research and factual investigationsManage a high volume of employment matters in a fast-paced, plaintiff-side environmentRequirements (Non-Negotiable)Juris Doctor from an accredited law schoolActive California State Bar membership1–3 years of experience in employment law, class actions, PAGA, and/or litigation (strongly preferred)Strong drafting, research, and proofreading skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsNice to HaveExperience in plaintiff-side employment litigationComfort working in a high-volume, deadline-driven practiceInterest in long-term growth within employment lawWhy This RolePlaintiff-side work with real responsibility early onExtremely flexible hybrid model (as little as 2 days per month in office after onboarding)Supportive, team-oriented environmentExposure to complex employment and PAGA mattersClear opportunity to grow beyond pre-lit into litigation if desired$140,000 – $170,000 base salary , depending on experienceRegional mid-market compensation structureIf you are an employment attorney looking to build a strong foundation on the plaintiff side while maintaining flexibility and balance, this is a standout opportunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
