Job Details

We are seeking a highly qualified associate with at least 8 years of experience working on complex commercial real estate matters, with a focus on purchase and sale finance, and joint venture transactions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting and negotiating skills, a strong academic background, and prior experience at a top-tier law firm.
Location: Southern California

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and joint venture agreements.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and manage closing processes.
• Advise clients on a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development projects.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel to resolve complex legal and business issues.
• Stay informed on relevant real estate laws, market trends, and industry developments to provide insightful guidance to clients.

Qualifications

• Barred in CA
• 5-10 years of experience in commercial real estate law at a large or reputable law firm.
• Strong foundation in drafting and negotiating complex real estate transaction documents.
• Experience managing multiple transactions simultaneously with light supervision.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
