Associate Attorney – Remote

• Location: Remote, Utah resident required 
• Salary: $120,000–$200,000 per year

Job Description

Regional insurance defense firm seeking an Associate Attorney for remote work, with potential partnership opportunities for lateral candidates. Utah attorneys with limited or extensive experience are invited to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and writing, including pleadings, motions, written discovery, disclosures, and other litigation documents
• Communicate effectively with clients, claims professionals, witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Manage and conduct all phases of litigation, including evaluation of claims, defenses, and next steps
• Conduct depositions, argue motions, and try cases

Qualifications

• Active Utah Bar license required
• Must be located in Utah
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Insurance defense experience preferred, but not required
• Wyoming or Colorado Bar license is a plus
