Job Description
- Handle a caseload of criminal matters, with a focus on clients impacted by substance abuse and mental health issues.
- Provide holistic, trauma-informed legal advocacy that considers the broader circumstances affecting each client.
- Support the firm’s broader legal services, including family dispute resolution for underserved populations and civil rights litigation.
- Advocate for civil rights, social justice, and equitable access to legal representation.
- Demonstrate sensitivity, professionalism, and compassion when working with individuals experiencing substance abuse and mental health challenges.
- Contribute to a recovery-focused practice committed to helping clients achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be admitted to practice law in the State of Kansas.
